Bilingual Paralegal

Paola’s career goals were fulfilled when her love of the law and helping people came together at The Merkel Law Firm, LLC. Paola is a bilingual Paralegal, speaking both English and Spanish. She assists the attorneys and the paralegals by communicating with Spanish-speaking clients. This includes reviewing medical records, coordinating appointments, and most importantly, maintaining a positive connection between the staff and our Spanish-speaking clients.

Paola’s favorite thing about working for The Merkel Law Firm, LLC is helping clients navigate the workers compensation environment. She very much enjoys people and finds it important to simply provide a sympathetic ear when needed.

Paola graduated from the University Sergio Arboleda in Colombia with a Law Degree. The Interpreter Network by Spring Institute – Bridging the Gap (BTG) Medical Interpreter training. She was born in Colombia, where her family still lives. Outside of work, Paola enjoys traveling, shopping, and exploring restaurants worldwide.
